The Handmaid’s Tale: Season 2 Official First Look [Hulu]

The heartbreaking adaptation of Margaret Atwood's classic novel left us speechless. And after the events seen in the first season, it was sung that Offred's story was not going to come to an end. Get ready for the return to patriarchal dystopia with the second season of The Handmaid's Tale!

During the past year the streaming service Hulu surprised us with one of the best dramas. We refer, of course, to The Handmaid's Tale, a series created by Bruce Miller, based on the homonymous novel by Margaret Atwood.

The plot places us in a dystopian future where a movement that calls itself "sons of Jacob" initiates a revolution and eliminates the Constitution of the United States to restore order. The new regime, the Republic of Gilead, reorganizes the entire social hierarchy eliminating almost all human rights, especially those relating to women, who are now called "Maids" and are forced into sexual servitude and maternity.


Whatever is silenced will clamor to be heard. The Handmaid's Tale Season 2 returns April 25, only on Hulu!
