Modern society has associated "real" masculinity with a snarky, invulnerable bravery, but this mode is unrealistic and unattainable for most. Maybe it's time to redefine what it means to be a man.

The idea of manliness has grown indelibly associated with the idea of being cool. We’d be wiser to shift the masculine ideal towards a new idea: warmth.
